There are over 40 course options available at All About Mi.
All courses are:
* Written to current National Occupational Standards.
* Professional qualifications.
* Accredited by ABT in the UK and AIT in Ireland.
* Professional courses that are fully insurable.
* Inclusive of all work packs and learning materials.
* Assessed both practically and theoretically.
* Inclusive of practical elements that are carried out on clients provided by All About Mi, you will not be required to bring models. In some instances you may be required to have the treatment as well as give the treatment - unless you are contra-indicated.
* Thorough and cover all practical skills and underpinning knowledge i.e. history of the treatment, treatment benefits, consultation, aftercare advice etc.
* Compliant with all health, safety and hygiene procedures and protocols.
* In line with industry codes of practice.
* Inclusive of relevant anatomy and physiology, for in depth body treatments a separate A & P qualification may need to be completed beforehand.
* Focused upon ensuring you are commercially ready and work to commercially acceptable costs and timings.
* Delivered with an emphasis upon client care. This include consultation techniques, GDPR, pre-treatment advice, aftercare advice and retail recommendations.
* Carried out in a professional and friendly environment, with all tools and materials required provided for the purpose of training on most courses, please see information next to your desired course.
* Subject to homework and case studies, as necessary.

Courses available are:
Face and Eyes
Facial Therapy - This course is 4 days in length and runs over 4 consecutive weeks. Course cost £750.
Stone Facial Therapy - This is a one day course but you must already be qualified in NVQ Level 2, Facial Therapy or equivalent to undertake the course. Course cost £200.
Thai Herbal Facial Therapy - This is a one day course but you must already be qualified in NVQ Level 2, Facial Therapy or equivalent to undertake the course. Course cost £200.
Aromatherapy Facial - This is a one day course but you must already be qualified in NVQ Level 2, Facial Therapy or equivalent to undertake the course. Course cost £200.
Aromatherapy Facial Practitioner - This is a two day course but you must be qualified in Aromatherapy in order to undertake the course. Course cost £400.
Basic Make Up Techniques - This is a one day course for which you are required to purchase a kit. Course cost £200.
Advanced Make Up Techniques - This is a one day course that will build upon the skills learnt on the basic technique course. you must have completed the basic course, or equivalent before moving on to this course. You will be required to purchase some additional items to add to your original kit. Course cost £200.
Bridal Make Up Techniques - This is a one day course, to complete it you must have attended the basic and advanced make up courses, or equivalent. You will be required to purchase some additional items to add to your original kit. Course cost £200.
Eye Treatments - This is a two day course that covers lash and brow tinting, eyebrow shaping, strip false lashes and individual false lashes. The cost of this course is £350.
Lash & Brow Tinting - This is a one day course covering eye lash tinting and eyebrow tinting techniques. This course costs £200.
Nails
Manicure - This is a one day course covering manicuring techniques only. Techniques include standard manicuring, heated mitts, exfoliation and mask and paraffin waxing. Course cost £200.
Pedicure - This is a one day course covering all pedicuring techniques only. Techniques include standard pedicuring, heated mitts, exfoliation and mask and paraffin waxing. Course Cost £200.
Manicure & Pedicure - This two day, combined course, covers all aspects of manicuring and pedicuring including standard procedures, heated mitts/boots, paraffin waxing and exfoliation and mask. The cost of this combined course is £350.
Gel Polishing - This is a half day course and you must be qualified in manicure and pedicure in order to undertake it. Course cost £100.
Nail Art - There are several nail art courses available at All About Mi:
Core Nail Art Courses - these are great for beginners or those wanting to perfect their basic skills. The two courses available are Freehand Nail Art and a Core Nail Art Course. The Freehand Nail Art Course allows you to learn and perfect some freehand techniques that create beautiful designs and patterns for clients. The Core Nail Art Course provide an introduction to nail wraps, foils, glitter, stamping, jewels etc. Please note that you must be qualified in manicure, as a minimum, to undertake this course. Each course costs £250.
Advanced Nail Art Courses are available in - Aquarelle, One Stroke and Gel Polish Nail Art. Each course is one day in length and you must be qualified in manicure, as a minimum, to undertake this course. Course cost is £250 for each one day course.
Tanning
Tanning - At All About Mi we offer two separate one day courses in tanning. One course covers manual tanning techniques and the other covers spray tanning techniques. Each course costs £175, you will be required to provide your own kit.
Hair Removal
Waxing - This is a two day course covering all aspects, and areas, of warm waxing. Course cost £350.
Intimate Waxing - This one day course can only be completed if you are qualified in warm waxing techniques. The intimate waxing course teaches you the hot waxing technique used for intimate female waxing. Course cost £200.
Epilation (Elecrolysis) - This course runs for four days over four consecutive weeks and teaches you the most effective form of permanent hair removal available. Course Cost £600.
Massage
Anatomy and Physiology - This is a pre-requisite for all massage, aromatherapy and reflexology courses. A & P is a two day, entirely theory, course. Course cost £350.
Body Massage - This course is two days directed learning, you are then required to complete case studies and return for a further half day final assessment. Course cost £400.
Aromatherapy Practitioner - This course is designed for those who wish to learn about aromatherapy and have the knowledge and ability to blend oils to perform massage. You will learn a selection of oils, their composition etc. and a full aromatherapy massage routine. This course is initially two days, you will then complete case studies before returning for a final half day assessment. Course Cost £450. Please note you must be qualified in anatomy and physiology to complete this course.
Aromatherapy (Pre-Blended) - This course is designed for those wanting to perform aromatherapy massage but who don't want to learn about specific oils and blend them. Using pre-blended oils we will show you how to carry out aromatherapy massage safely and effectively. Course Cost £450. You must be qualified in anatomy and physiology to complete this course.
Hot Stone Massage - This is a very popular massage technique and this course will teach you everything you need to know to carry the treatment out safely and confidently. This is a one day, advanced massage technique course, you must be qualified in body massage and anatomy and physiology to complete it. Course cost £200.
Lomi Lomi Massage - This is a Hawaiian massage technique that is increasing in popularity due to its stress busting nature. This is a one day, advanced massage technique course, you must be qualified in body massage and anatomy and physiology to complete it. Course cost £200.
Balinese Massage - This is a one day, advanced massage, course covering the techniques and theory of Balinese massage. You must be qualified in body massage and anatomy and physiology to complete it. Course cost £200.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage - This is a great addition to any treatment menu teaching you the advanced massage technique of lymphatic drainage. You must be qualified in body massage and anatomy and physiology to complete this one day course. Course cost £200.
Pregnancy Massage - Essential training for any therapist wanting to treat pregnant clients. This one day course goes through the A & P relevant to pregnancy and how to massage the client safely and effectively. You must be qualified in body massage and anatomy and physiology to complete this course. Course cost £200.
Thai Herbal Massage - A wonderful advanced massage technique using herbal compresses. You must be qualified in body massage and anatomy and physiology to complete this one day course. Course cost £200.
Holistic Therapies
Please note you must be qualified in anatomy and physiology to complete any of the below courses with the exception of Thermal Auricular Therapy.
Reflexology - This course covers all practical and theoretical knowledge relevant to reflexology and begins with two days directed study, you are then required to complete case studies before you return for your final assessment. Course cost £450.
Maternity Reflexology - This advanced reflexology technique teaches you the specifics of carrying out reflexology during pregnancy, the movements that can be used and a safe and relaxing routine. You must be qualified in reflexology as well as A & P to complete this course. Course cost £200.
Fertility Reflexology - Another advanced reflexology technique teaching you the routine and techniques to perform the treatment in order to boost fertility. You must be qualified in reflexology as well as A & P to carry out this course. Course cost £200.
Indian Head Massage - Also known as Champissage, this one day course teaches you all of the practical and theoretical knowledge required to complete the treatment safely and effectively. Course cost £200.
Navel Candling - This ancient Javanese technique is particularly good for clients who suffer with IBS, menstrual cramps,bloating, digestive problems etc. This one day course will teach you all of the practical and theory of this treatment which makes a great addition to any treatment menu. Course cost £200.
Thermal Auricular Therapy - Otherwise known as Hopi Ear Candling, Thermal Auricular Therapy is a highly sought after holistic therapy treatment that is particularly effective for clients with hay fever, sinusitis, compacted ear wax etc. This one day course teaches you all of the practical skill and theoretical knowledge required. Course cost £200.
Refresher Training
Refresher courses are also available for those already qualified but looking to perfect their skills due to a career break or a loss of confidence. Refresher courses are one day in length and cost £200 each. Please email allaboutmibeauty@gmail.com for further details.
